Ski Roundtop AMBC Cancelled for 2005

Lewisberry, PA – May 11, 2005 - Ski Roundtop AMBC Cancelled for 2005

Due to logging and associated damage to the trail systems and fire
roads of Ski Roundtop, the AMBC event scheduled for June 5, 2005 has
been cancelled.  We are in a situation where we may not be able to
provide the high quality racing experience we strive to create and
will not have time to repair the damage to the mountain before the
event is to take place.  We regret that we must cancel this event for
this year as we know that riders in the area were looking forward to
once again battling it out over Roundtop's technical trails and tough
climbs and we were very excited to re-open one of the mid-Atlantic's
classic race venues.

Ski Roundtop is excited and motivated to bring cross-country racing
back to their resort and once the logging is complete we will reopen
the trails, repair the damage, and will add new sections of
singletrack.  We hope to be able to offer a new and improved course
and re-introduce cross-country events to Ski Roundtop in the summer of
2006.
